Trina Davies

Trina's award-winning plays include Multi User Dungeon, Shatter, The Auction, The Bone Bridge and Waxworks. Her plays have been performed across Canada and in a number of other countries including the United States, Germany, Italy, and India. Her work has been translated into Italian and German. She has participated in artist residencies at the Stratford Festival in Ontario, the Bella Vita Playwrights Retreat (Tuscany), the PTC Playwrights Colony, and the Banff Centre for the Arts. Her last play The Romeo Initiative was a finalist for the Governor General's Literary Award for Drama in 2012. She is currently working on The Bone Bridge (winner of the 2014 National Uprising Award for plays addressing human rights and social justice and the 2017 Woodward International Playwriting Award out of the U.S.) and the world premiere of Silence: Mabel and Alexander Graham Bell directed by Peter Hinton at The Grand Theatre in January 2018.

She is a member of the Alberta Playwrights Network, the Playwrights Theatre Centre and the Playwrights Guild of Canada. Trina lives in Vancouver.
