Sean Harris Oliver

Sean is an emerging playwright based out of Vancouver, BC. Sean's work has been produced and developed throughout Vancouver and the United States. His short play Eight Seconds was originally staged at the Pull Festival (Sum Theatre) and has subsequently gone on to be produced in New York (40th Annual Samuel French OOB Festival), Massachusetts (Barrington Stage Co.), and Florida (America's Short Play Festival). Sean's short film Letter from a Stone Cold Killer was shortlisted for the Canadian Short Screenplay Awards and was subsequently produced and released by Scopitone Films (the film can be watched here - Sean is currently developing two new plays: REDPATCH (Hardline Productions), which will appear as a workshop presentation this March at Presentation House Theatre, and The Fighting Season (Bleeding Heart Theatre) debuting January 2017 at the Cultch. His first play, Bright Blue Future, was a finalist for the Theatre BC Playwriting Competition and was produced by Hardline Productions.
