Ryan Griffith

A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Ryan Griffith enjoys performing and writing for theatres in his home province of New Brunswick.  Ryan’s play LUTZ was published by Playwrights Canada Press in 2011.  His work has been featured as part of Theatre Yes’ NATIONAL ELEVATOR PROJECT, and on CBC radio’s Q.  His play RETURNING FIRE was recently produced by Theatre New Brunswick.  His work has also been produced by the NotaBle Acts Theatre Company and Solo Chicken Productions.  In 2015 Ryan attended the Banff Playwrights Colony, and his play WHARF received an honourable mention in the 2015 Herman Voaden Competition.  He is working on a book called FORTUNE OF WOLVES, and is serving as the Artistic Director for the Next Folding Theatre Company in Fredericton.  Ryan is also a board member for PARC(Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre), has taught several playwriting courses for St. Thomas University, and is currently serving as the playwright-in-residence for Theatre New Brunswick.
