Roy Teed




Roy Teed has been writing all his life and for the stage since 1987. He has a degree in Fine Arts with a major in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. He has written 30+ plays, divided about evenly between full length and one act. Although he is best known for his comedy, he has been seen to dabble in the occasional drama. His work has been produced by community theatre groups all over British Columbia, from Vancouver Island to Fort St John. Some of his best known works are the hockey comedy, The Good Game, Har!(the pirate play) and the Canadian western, The Rutabaga Ranger Rides Again. Roy is an active participant in Theatre BC’s Central Interior Zone and currently resides in Quesnel with a  wife and two dogs. Contact:
