Meredith Taylor-Parry

Meredith Taylor-Parry is a playwright based in Calgary, Alberta. Her play Survival Skills won the New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest in 2013 and was produced by the 13 Street Repertory Company, NYC, in April 2014.  Her play Devices was presented in Week One of the New Ideas Festival at Alumnae Theatre in Toronto in March 2015. The world premiere of her play Book Club was produced by Lunchbox Theatre, Calgary in February 2016 where it received an extended run to a majority of sold out audiences. It was developed as part of the Suncor Energy Stage One Festival of New Canadian Work at Lunchbox Theatre in 2014.

Meredith also enjoys perfoming and writing for young audiences and is a founder of the Bigs and Littles Theatre Society. Her TYA play, So Long, was produced by Sandbox Children's Theatre in 2012, touring Calgary and area schools. She is currently enrolled in the MFA program at the University of Cagary and enjoying the opportunity to work with award winning playwright Clem Martini.
