Kim Renders

Kim Renders has worked as a writer, director, designer and actor in theatres across Canada for almost thirty years. She is a founding member of Canada's oldest professional feminist theatre company, Nightwood Theatre and part of the original brat pack that formed the Theatre Centre in Toronto. She has been the recipient of numerous arts awards towards the creation of original works of theatre - both as a member of collectively created projects, community-based projects and solo ventures. Kim lives in Kingston, Ontario where she served as A.D. of Theatre Kingston for five years and currently manages the Barefoot Players, a TYA troupe that performs during the summer months. Kim is also a faculty member of the Queen's University Drama Department.
