Deborah Williams

Deborah is an insightful performer and writer known by her dark eye for comedy and her willingness to spill her guts in the name of art, or at least for the price of a laugh. She is a graduate of the acclaimed Studio 58 acting program in Vancouver, and has worked on stages across the country for the past 20 years. Deborah is one of the stars and creators of the award-winning international hit Mom's the Word. This hunourous and poignant show has ejoyed immense success across Canada, in Australia, the United States and the UK, and is poised to take on and relieve the anxieties of European parents. Deborah has written two succesful comedic sketch plays, Stay Fresh Special and Wince. Deb also writes comedic pieces for magazines and newspapers, and performs her own comic material for radio and television. Her televison credits include two seasons of writing and performing comedic monologues for Life Network's "Family and Friends" and on CBC's "Spilled Milk". She is also a freelance radio producer and CBC replacement host, a fund-raiser, fiendish gardener, and rabid, home-schooling mother.
