Sara Graefe
 
Born in Ottawa, Sara Graefe started writing plays in high school and is a three-time winner of the National Arts Centre's Young Playwrights Search. She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Theatre from the University of British Columbia, and has been a writer resident at the Canadian Film Centre. Her plays – which include Sadly as I Tie My Shoes, Dreamspyre, and Yellow on Thursdays – have been produced as far afield as Yukon's Nakai Theatre, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and the Sydney Opera House. She makes her home in Vancouver, where she also writes for film and television, and is a member of the Seven Sisters Writing Group.
