PGC is looking for a new Membership Coordinator

Playwrights Guild of Canada, the national charitable association of 500 playwrights is looking for a full-time Membership and Contracts Coordinator.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Membership and Professional Contracts Coordinator is responsible for:

Member outreach/relations
•    Responding to members' inquiries
•    Maintaining member files in the database and on PGC’s website
•    Collecting dues payments
•    Processing membership applications
•    Managing members on the website and listserv
•    Managing membership renewals
•    Providing membership lists to the National Forum
•    Soliciting new members
•    Attending play readings, festivals and productions
•    Travelling to different parts of the country to promote PGC

Contracts
•    Reviewing and overseeing administration of professional contracts
•    Providing professional contract guidance to playwrights
•    Administrating the RRSP program
•    Providing committee support

Additional tasks
•    Administrative support
•    Assisting with program development
•    Providing support to working committees, as required.

The ideal candidate will have:
•    A post-secondary degree, preferably in arts administration
•    3-5 years experience in a non-profit environment
•    Exceptional organizational skills
•    Superior communication (both oral and written)
•    Excellent command of computer programs
•    Passion for theatre and solid knowledge of Canadian plays and playwrights
•    Ability to work as part of a team
•    Ability to work flexible hours.
